Helpful websites

If you're ever in need of inspiration, here are some helpful sites!

I was just introduced to this site and it seems amazing. It offers professional development videos, an "Educate Families" programs and tons of other things. http://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators Perhaps the most helpful aspect of the site is "graphite", which shares ratings for apps, games, websites, etc. that educators can use with their students http://www.graphite.org/

This site has tons of videos/lesson ideas/words of wisdom/etc. that are very helpful for teachers in general, and American teachers in particular. https://www.teachingchannel.org/

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation shares a lot of interesting news about teaching, this site is a great way to find new websites and resources. http://www.thegatesnotes.com/education

Exploring this site can be very enlightening. Many projects shared by the Harvard Graduate School of Education might spark your imagination. http://www.pz.harvard.edu/

And there are more to come!
